“theALPS“ is a new platform for joint tourist campaigns to promote European Alpine tourism, networking and innovative thinking. It is a place where top Alpine tourism experts and leading decision-makers in the international tourist industry can meet and exchange experiences. The new lobbying event for Alpine tourism Start with kick-off event in Innsbruck on 13 and 14 September 2010 The Alpine countries are joining forces. In future, the aim will be to increase joint representation to provide sustained support for Alpine tourism all year round, to produce joint strategies to meet the specific challenges of ecological Alpine tourism and to develop visions and future scenarios. “theALPS” will help to publicise current Alpine topics and products, increase their attractiveness and arouse interest in international media and their consumers. It is an initiative by Tirol Werbung (Tirol Advertising Agency) in cooperation with the Tirol region, the Tirol Chamber of Commerce and the Tourist Office of Innsbruck and the surrounding holiday villages as well as Österreich Werbung (Austria Advertising Agency) and partners from international Alpine regions. |
